Been meaning to go there for ages as it seems popular and there has to be a reason
OK so it is a Cafe, no frills, and...its good...menu small but caters for everyone...I fancied chips...beef or burger...I decided burger...when the waitress came I asked what was the sauce (I do NOT like the so called burger sauce...normally yuk)...so she said try the weekly burger special...this week moutard a l'ancienne....ok why not....
Yummy; very good chips and a nicely made burger, although I'm not sure the French will ever really equate bien cuit with reality...they're always red in the middle...but it was excellent
And a nice little glass of bordeaux to wash it down. Then a decent double espresso
Friendly service; very enjoyable meal. Other meals being serviced all looked equally decent...and at a good price. Will definitely return
